CREATING A PO FROM A WORK ORDER
To start a PO from the Work Order, click on three-dot "More" button (positioned in the top section in the work order list view form).

Click on "Create a PO". "Create a PO" modal is opened with the following fields:
- X (Close) button
- Supplier input field
- Order tracking number input field (WO #… the customer’s name)
- PO status input field ("In preparation" by default)
- The added product(s) with checkbox and quantity input (1 by default)
- Cancel button
- Save button

Search for the Supplier the PO is created for (This is done by clicking in the field and start typing the name). The list will start to populate based on the characters entered and will be displayed in alphanumeric order.
The Order tracking number field that will by default have the WO # - (Last Name or Company Name) set, but this can be manually overwritten with any Unique identifier.
This will be searchable in Back Office for ease of finding the PO later.
Select the PO status:
- In preparation (This is an open PO that can be modified later and confirmed when ready to send to the Supplier to order)
- Confirmed (Confirmed, closed PO for an order placed)
Check one or more products checkbox(es) and add quantity(by default the system will have 1 for the quantity, but this can be changed by either the up or down arrows in the field or can be typed in manually).
Click on Save button, "Purchase order was added" message is displayed and the pop-up closes.
ADDING SINGLE ITEMS TO A PO
If only a single product needs to be ordered with no rush you can also do so from the line item itself.
This is done by clicking on the three-dot button on the right side of the line item and clicking on “Add to PO”

Sidebar will pop up on the right side of the window.

It will have the Warehouse to select (Store Location) and Quantity field.
Once selected, click on Add.
In Back Office the product will be added to an existing “In preparation” PO that does not have a Supplier selected, or will start a new PO that is “In preparation” status to be finalized when the user is ready to do so.
